What I've Learned
Some good nuggets of knowledge can be found in Esquire's "What I've Learned" series. I've spend 3 straight hours reading them.

Alan, saw the article on you in the AJC. We have a lot in common - I also became a millionaire by saving on my own by around 28 (am 29 now), and I spent many of my post college years in nyc, though I live in Atlanta now. I was in nyc from 2000-2004, working in IT as well. I regret not buying real estate there like you did!
Anyway, good to see that there are others out there with a similar mentality - I lament the state of financial education in this country, and wish most people knew more about how to manage their money. Good to see you writing this book - people need to know that it's possible, and getting there just takes some discipline!

Hey Alan,
I happened upon your book in my local B&N, bought it, and read it all very quickly. I enjoyed it a lot -- very well written, and some really helpful tips. At 27, it's a little too late for me to hit $1M by age 30, but this book ought to help me retire a lot sooner than my friends!

Thanks Praveen, and congrats on all your success. This book is indeed for twenty-somethings that enter the real world with no financial basis - I agree, it's rough out there without this knowledge.
And Scott, glad you liked the book. I'd suggest buying 2 books and then you'll know how to be a millioniare by 60! ;)
